#6. EDWARD HONINGS (son of #4 WILLIAM HONINGS) was born 20 May 1550 in Eye, Suffolk, and died 1609. He married URSULA WINGFIELD, daughter of ANTHONY WINGFIELD and KATHERINE BLENNERHASSETT.

Notes for EDWARD HONINGS: Under his father's will, he inherited property in Gloucestershire and London, also "all myne armour and other furniture for the warres". Became Receiver of Crown Rents for Suffolk. Was granted Manor of Darsham 1575. Obtained other Crown Grants in 1595 and 1598, Patron of the living of Darsham. MP for Darsham 1579, and Eye 1589. Receiver to the King.
